Greggy, the bridge is in Baltimore County, but it's owned by the City. Apparently, it's still considered reservoir property up there. Therein lies much of the problem - why would the City even care about a bridge that's used 99.99% of the time by County residents? It's painfully obvious that they don't.

Sure would be nice to have cross walks marked in the Locust Point neigborhood.
Lots of traffic now on side streets which have become a hazard for pedestrians.
Stop signs on Hull St are also blocked by trees

less than one week into construction and already both Hull St. and Andre St. blocked by trains @ 9 PM. It took 30 mins to go from Merritt to Andre St. Great execution on the plan CSX

can't wait to see the completion...long time coming. however it s not gonna make those BMW drivers slow down to 25....I stop at my uncles house in the 1300 block right at the bridge and its dangerous to cross the Ave....but I yell at them...maybe they can put a speed camera up along with the rebuilding of the bridge.

Why is it they can put temporary lights anywhere they want that can power sustain themselves, but they can't get one on Phoenix Road. Also, why did they make it one way towards York road. York road is so congested it would make sense to make it one way away from york road. This is just another example of the counties poor planning

Sounds like poor planning to me. Close a bridge for 4 months, spend a day working on it, reopen it as one lane eastbound, realize traffic also goes westbound, determine a traffic signal would help, call BGE.

Hello, here is an update from our project manager, recapping what has happened:

Bridge was closed last Fall.
Bridge was reopened to one way traffic, westbound only, earlier this Spring.
The city is currently working with BGE in order to get a traffic signal installed.
Once installed, the traffic signal will control the flow of traffic, both eastbound & westbound, over the single lane on the bridge.
A bridge study is about to begin for this bridge in order to determine whether it is safer and more cost effect to Rehabilitate or Replace the bridge.

The bridge is just SITTING there. No work being done, no construction zone, no workers, no trucks! What is going on?? I don't mind it being worked on, if, you know, WORK was being done!

Thank you Paul, My Permitted parking "area" is in area 18 which is over a mile away!!! That is my major issue here, not the lack of parking but that I am not even entitled to one closer than a mile to my house, Here it is in perspective, I live on Fleet and Ann the closest parking street for my "area" is North of Patterson Park!!
Area 16 is on my corner but thh above mentioned Associations close the door when it comes to this subject.

There is a process for a neighborhood to obtain resident permitted parking and I suggest you contact the parking authority and your community association for the details.
